  • MAC Creme Cup Cremesheen + swatch

It’s only fitting that a blog called hellolipstick features lipsticks. To make it easy on myself we’re going to feature one of my favorite lipsticks ever from MAC: Creme Cup!

This is my first lipstick from MAC, and I have to say it’s what got me into lipsticks to begin with. It’s a light blue pink, an accurate description here from the MAC website. It retails for $17.

Please note that I have a fair and cool-toned complexion. Lipstick with warmer undertones doesn’t look good on me, and as much as I want to I just can’t pull it off. My mistake getting into makeup was always lusting after what other girls had, even though their complexion was completely different than mine. Creme Cup on the other hand is also cool, which is why I finally managed to find a lipstick that worked for me.

For me this is the perfect everyday shade, but it might not work for you if you’re more tan than me. I’ve read a few reviews stating that this is the perfect shade for fair blonde gals, and I completely agree. I even purchased this for my sister, who is also fair and blond, as she kept borrowing mine all the time.

It has a cremesheen finish to it, which basically means it has a high-shine finish to it. It applies evenly and ain’t really a hassle: it’s one of those that you can apply without mirror, and it will still be spot on.

Hopefully you got a better idea on how this lipstick looks in real life! I’ll get better at taking swatch-on-my-lips photos; promise.

  • Nails Inc. Victoria Beckham Judo Red

I’m back to share with you my nails of today. I feel a bit bad for posting this as it’s limited edition, but I just recently saw that it’s available certain places online (Douglas, Sephora, etc), depending on your country. Your local Sephora might also have it in stock.

Nails Inc. has collaborated with Victoria Beckham, and brought us two stunning shades: Judo Red and Bamboo White. The duo can be purchased here.

Judo Red is described as a vibrant tomato shade, and let me tell you, it’s absolutely gorgeous. Nail polish has a tendency to chip on me within 24-hours, but not this badass, no. It leans a bit towards orange depending on the light.

I originally got this because I was getting Bamboo White (which I dreamed about for months before finally caving), but as it was on sale I figured I’d better get them both … And I’m so glad I did! I know it comes with a hefty pricetag, but if you decide to get either of them I promise you won’t be disappointed.

  • Poland Makeup Haul

Hello there gorgeous! So for my first ever blog post here on hellolipstick.com, I thought I would show you what I got when I was in Poland not too long ago

We don’t have Sephora here where I live, so I was excited to have a peek and bring home some goodies. Another exciting part was Inglot. Inglot is a polish makeup brand, and although they are sold all over the world they’re considerable cheaper in Poland where it cost next to nothing.

Sephora cream lip stain, brow highlight, eyeshadow base

I already had three of the Sephora Cream Lip Stains (in 06, 09 and 13), and I was so impressed with the formula that I had to grab a few more once I had the oppurtunity. I got 01 Always Red, 03 Strawberry Kissed and Whipped Blush 08. This last one I was resistent to pick up because it looks so scary in the tube, and I promise you it looks just as bright on the lips too. But it’s absolutely stunning and my favorite of the bunch, paired with a neutral eye.

I also got the SMASHBOX 24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer and Sephora Smart Liner.

From Inglot I picked up quite a few things. I got the AMC Brow Liner Gel in #12 – which I can tell you right now has become my holygrail browproduct. I also got the AMC Eyeliner Gel in #77, as well as the brushes in 31T and 4SS to go with them.

My most anticipated purchase was the Freedom System Sculpting Palette! You get the palette and all the shades separetly. Left to right shade 503, 505, 509 and highlighter trio in 102. As you can see I got two highlighters and two sculpting powders.

Drugstore haul makeup: ingrid cosmetics, eveline, nivea, revlon

This was my last stop! I kind of regret this one, because all of these were impulse purchases. Well, I don’t regret it so much because I absolutely adore this lipstick, it’s just that I prefer to read about the products before I buy them. It’s all from a store called HeBe (Health and Beauty). I got four of the Nivea lip balms (why did I need four?), three blushes, a setting powder, a lipstick, three eyeliners, two concealers, a foundation from Revlon and a mascara.

If you’d like a review of any of the products mentioned, please leave a comment down below.
